MISSION OF ELITE FUTSAL CHARLESTON
To provide an environment for players of all levels and ages to play and learn the game of futsal.  Elite Futsal Charleston will do this by:

- Focusing on skill development and fun vs. winning.  
- Utilizing US Soccer Futsal certified referees who understand the spirit and art of the game.
- Matching teams of similar skill in appropriate divisions and age groups where possible

HISTORY OF ELITE FUTSAL CHARLESTON
Elite Futsal Charleston, an affiliate of US Youth Futsal, is the largest US Soccer sanctioned futsal league in South Carolina, and the country.  After a very successful 2012 Summer Futsal League, we are very pleased and excited to introduce our second Winter Futsal League with new facilities and the same great quality of play.

Elite Futsal Charleston’s Winter and Summer Leagues feature teams in every age group and gender from U8 through High School.  High-quality officiating, fair and balanced competition, superior facilities and outstanding service is what will keep coaches, players, and parents returning to play season after season.

In January of 2010, EFC held the first of many futsal clinics at Velocity Sports Performance in Mount Pleasant. With over 60 kids turning up at the event, it was evident that the game of futsal had found a home in Charleston and is here to stay!  This past summer, EFC featured 34 teams and over 300 kids.  We are committed to developing the Lowcountry’s youth to ensure that futsal is here to stay!

 UNITED STATES YOUTH FUTSAL AND OUR AFFILIATIONS                                                                   

	UNITED STATES YOUTH FUTSAL is the largest national futsal organization affiliated with US Soccer. With over 40 leagues throughout the country, 5 Regional tournaments and a National Championship, it is the fastest growing futsal organization in the U.S.
	US SOCCER – Is the governing body of all soccer in the United States. Its mission is to make soccer, in all its forms, a preeminent sport in the United States and to continue the development of soccer at all recreational and competitive levels.
	USSSA is a non-profit organization whose mission is to develop and expand the game of soccer in the United States. USSSA has been an affiliate of US Soccer since July, 2001.  USSSA registers, sanction and provides insurance for leagues, clubs, academies and players.
