FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
OVERLAND PARK, KS. (July 13, 2017) – The U.S. Youth Futsal National I.D. Trial brings together the best youth futsal players in the nation as judged at the U.S. Youth Futsal State I.D. Trials earlier in the year. The event includes training, games and the selection of U.S. Youth Futsal Teams at the U18, U16, U15, U14, U13, U12 and U11 age groups including birth years 1999-2006.
The Trial will be led by the U.S. Youth Futsal Coaching Staff and USMNT Futsal Coach, Keith Tozer.
With over 500 players from across the U.S. in attendance, after evaluation, the top players will be chosen for U.S. Youth Futsal Teams that will train together and travel internationally. Recent trips include Toronto, Canada - Medellin, Colombia and San Jose, Costa Rica.
The boys and girls U18, U16 and U14 U.S. Youth Futsal National teams will travel to Costa Rica for three international matches from July 23 to July 30. Players selected at The National I.D. Trial will be offered roster spots for the trip, which will be led by U.S. Youth Futsal National Team coaching staff.
The boys’ trials will be held at New Century Fieldhouse and the girls’ trials will be held at Johnson County Community College.
