Mission Statement

Our goal is to develop strong, confident and well-rounded young athletes through the game of soccer. We strive to make our players the best they can be, while maintaining their love and passion for the game. We want soccer to be a fun and positive experience for our players, whether it be at training or in games.

We strive to make each player a better individual off the field as well by teaching them about a sense of community and social responsibility.  We want them to remember their time on the field as a positive, competitive and heartfelt experience that prepared them for their future endeavors.

BC Fire is a recognized 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.


Core Values

Community:
BC Fire seeks to foster and cultivate a like-minded community of people who are dedicated to developing not just as soccer players, but as people. Furthermore, we strive to be a positive member within the soccer community, and more importantly, the community at large.

Player Development:
Development of individual players within a team setting is done with a thought for the player’s respective need today and with an eye on the future. We do this by maximizing the soccer potential in all players with age-appropriate training to complement the team’s growth.

Determination:
BC Fire expects our athletes, coaches, and leaders to possess and continue to develop a strong level of self-determination.

Integrity:
BC Fire, we expect our program leaders, coaches, and athletes to make the right decision even when nobody is watching them — to know the difference between right & wrong and choose to do what is right.

Desire:
BC Fire expects all members of the BC Fire organization to constantly have the desire to get better — not just as soccer players, but as people as well.

Accountability:
BC Fire expects all members of our organization to take responsibility for their actions both on and off the field. We will be admitting our mistakes and choose to do something to fix them rather than making excuses for why they are happening.
