Futsal Academy, MD State Futsal ID Trials & Summer Soccer Camps


The Premier Futsal Academy was created by Lee Tschantret to train youth soccer players ages U7 to U13 in the game of Futsal. This Academy hones their soccer abilities in a professional environment with cutting edge techniques for optimum development in speed, agility and foot skills. There are 6 consecutive weekly one hour training sessions which focus on individual skills and technique that translate directly into the outdoor game. In modern soccer, where transition is so important, having good technical ability will give a player more time and space to operate with the ball.


Sessions: Session 1: November 13 - December 19  *   Session 2: January 8 - February 13
Days & Times: Mondays or Tuesdays: 6:00 - 7:00 pm or 7:15 - 8:15 pm

Cost: $90 + $10.50 USYF Registration fee (1 time yearly)


For Advanced Players ages 12-15. Elite Futsal Academy players need to be proficient in dribbling, passing, and possession. This Academy will be at a faster pace and will include passing patterns, possession and playingRegistration opens soon!


The Maryland State Futsal I.D Trials evaluate the best youth soccer players to be part of the U.S. Youth National Futsal Teams. The elite players from the State Trials are invited to the National I.D. Trials in July. Players that are selected at the National I.D. Trials will be offered roster spots for international trips that will pit the United States National Teams against top-notch International Teams.

Bring: Water bottle, snack, sunscreen, towel, bathing suit, sneakers, sandals (or slides), cleats, shin guards, soccer ball and change of clothes (in case of inclement weather)

Lee Tschantret, Head Coach for Varsity Soccer at Loyola High School, directs these camps. Lee was captain of the U.S. National Futsal Team, a starter in the 2007 Pan Am Games, a CONCACAF Gold Medal Winner and Futsal World Cup Player. He has played professional soccer, both indoor and outdoor for over 17 years. He holds a USSF Coach A license, a Masters Degree in Coaching and was awarded 2012 Maryland NSCAA Coach of the Year.

The soccer camp curriculum offers challenges within a nurturing learning environment. This program provides opportunities to grow and improve for both beginning players and premier athletes. The mission is to generate passion for the game through technique, tactics, and fun. Whether players are just learning the basics of the game, or preparing for accelerated levels of play, Loyola Soccer Camps delivers fun-filled and intensive soccer education and training.
