2022-2023 Pittsburgh Futsal League Rules and Info

Team Registration:
Registration Is now Open and will close 1/1/2023

Schedules will post 5 days after registration closes. We can't post schedules prior to this time!

Locations - Teams need to plan to play at both locations 

PISA - some areas near the facility is Gibsonia, Mars, North Hills, Deer Lakes, Harmar, Shaler, Hampton

Pittsburgh Sports Complex- some areas near the facility is Norwin, Plum, Monroeville, Penn Trafford, Penn Hills, Freeport, Murrysville, New Kensington, Lower Burrell


Session 1 (Starting November 12th thru Dec 31st)

November 12 and 13, with Nov 19, 20, 26, 27 Dec 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 31

Session 2 (January 14th thru March 5th)

Jan 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29 Feb 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26 Mar 4, 5

U12 and under on Saturday

U13 and up on Sunday

(Each team will give 2 blackout dates to create each team session schedule)


$590 for 8 Games (48 Min matches)

Discount available for multiple teams from one organization (Speak to league manager for details)

Ref fees- $20 per ref (split between two teams) paid directly to ref(s).

USYF Insurance fee per player $13.50 (Covers player for all leagues/tournaments/ID for 1 year)

Background for coaches and managers $10 each.

Recreational Division

We understand teams may have variation of skillset so each coach or team manager to determine the division they feel best fits their players. Teams can contact us to be reevaluated and maybe changed to a better fitting division.

Roster size recommended 7-8 (max 12)

Format 5v5 including Goalkeeper

Unlimited subs on the fly

2 twenty-four-minute halves.

1 minute time out offered per half

U8 Coed (if we have enough girls' teams then we will offer a girl's bracket) (Birth years 2015-2015)

U9/U10 Boys and Girls (Birth years 2014-2013)

U11/U12 Boys and Girls (Birth years 2012-2011)

U13/U14 Boys and Girls (Birth years 2010-2009)

High School Boys and Girls (Birth years 2008-2004-3)

The wearing of shin guards will be mandatory for all players. Indoor, flat soled soccer shoes also must be worn. All court players will need the same color jersey on and if not they will need to wear pennies. Goalkeepers will need to have different color jersey than the team.
